A Shot of Reality:  Underage Drinking in Longmeadow

We are rescheduling A Shot of Reality:  Underage Drinking In Longmeadow in order to avoid conflicting with Passover.  
This event will take place on Monday, May 1st in the LHS Auditorium at 7:00 pm, not on Monday, April 10th
Sponsored by Longmeadow Police Department and Public Schools
Local trends, police protocols, tips from parents, talking points.
Highly recommended for middle and high school parents, open to residents and youth accompanied by an adult.  Please see the attached flyer for more information.

2-Hour Delay Wednesday 3/15/17

Longmeadow Public Schools will open after a two-hour delayed opening.  
Just a reminder that due to the delay elementary schools will not have a half day of school.  Parent/teacher conferences are cancelled for tomorrow.

Longmeadow Schools Special Programs invites all parents to hear Jessica Lahey speak on "The Gift of Failure:  How the Best Parents Learn to Let Go So Their Children Can Succeed," Tuesday, March 7th at 7pm in the LHS Auditorium.  Book signing and discussion facilitated by Superintendent O'Shea will take place immediately afterwards.  Hope you can join us!

Girls on the Run is looking for volunteers!

Girls on the Run is looking for volunteers! Girls on the Run is gearing up for the spring season! The program is scheduled to run from mid-March through the beginning of June. Details regarding registration will follow, but we are currently seeking volunteers to help with coaching. If you are interested, please see the attached flyer. SixFlags Reading Program

Blueberry is participating in the Six Flags Reading program – Forms due back Monday, February 27
th!

Blueberry will be participating in the Six Flags Reading program again this year! It is easy to do – just keep track of your child’s reading and return the log to Mrs. Joyce. Your child will then be eligible for a ticket to use at the Six Flags theme park. Please see the attached flyer and log sheet for more detailed information about the program!

Kindergarten registration begins in February! As you may be aware, kindergarten registration will begin next month. If you are not on the census, or do not know if you're on the census, please call Marie Sickman at Blueberry Hill School to inform her of your child's entrance into kindergarten in the fall. Once this information is provided, this will allow the office to be sure that all communications are sent out to you. Thank you!
