The mission of Williams Middle School is to ensure that all students excel in learning, succeed in life, and enrich our community. In addition, we are committed to supporting a successful transition from childhood to early adolescence.

Recent Announcements

  • Historical Society Speaker Yale professor John Demos, author of "The Unredeemed Captive" will speak at Williams MS Thursday October 16th. He will be speaking about early Longmeadow history, the Deerfield raid of 1704, the captivity of the Williams family and the redemption of Stephen Williams, Longmeadow's first minister as well as his sister Eunice, the unredeemed captive. The presentation is sponsored by the Historical Society,  Williams MS, Storrs Library and First Church of Christ, and is open and free to the public. The doors will be open at 7pm and the speaker will begin at 7:30. Light refreshments will be served.

  • Wear Pink! Staff and students are encouraged to wear pink this Friday October 10th in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month. We are not collecting donations for this spirit day but hope that all will participate!

  • Yearbook Committee The yearbook committee is now forming- any interested student in grades 6, 7 and 8 should plan to attend the informational meeting after school on Wednesday October 8th in room 17.

  • Shred Event @ WMS October 18 9am-12pm Each year, in the Spring and Fall, we host a paper shredding event at Williams.  We encourage anyone in the surrounding communities to collect all of their confidential documents/bills, etc. and bring them to us for shredding.  This shredding event is sponsored for us by Valley Green Shredding.  Valley Green brings one of their shredding trucks to Williams and we shred all papers/documents, etc. right on site.  Valley Green also offers a service to destroy old hard drives, again right on site.  On Saturday, October 18th from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm, we will have Valley Green at Williams, available for shredding all of your confidential documents.
